Detox Boot CampI am getting ready to do my detox boot camp. It is like a good spring cleaning for the body and soul and spirit, and I really look forward to doing my detox boot camp. It cleans me out good. I look forward to having more energy, more mental clarity, more vitality, and my aches and pains going away. Right now, I am actually in a pre-cleanse stage, what I call a pre-cleanse. I am going to be starting the boot camp in just a couple of days.

I am transitioning myself down from my present diet to where I am going to end up on the detox boot camp with just a little bit of protein, a little bit of fat, all the vitamins and minerals, just a small amount of carbohydrate, lots of organic vegetables, vegetable blender smoothies, organic salads, that type of thing.

Getting Ready For Detox Boot Camp

A very, very clean and cleansing diet, yet it is going to provide just enough of the nutrients that I need so I have energy and my body can build and cleanse both.

I've got "Juice Fasting and Detoxification" by Steve Myerwitz here, and on page 13, he talks about the pre-fast diet. Now, I am not doing a fast per se; I am doing a detox. I am doing a cleanse, but similar things apply.

I am going to be cutting back on my caffeine. I already almost never consume refined white flour and junk like that, but I am going to be making sure that my processed foods are as close to zero as possible.

I am going to be adding more and more fresh, raw, organic vegetables to my diet. And I am going to do this, so that I can transition gradually down to the detox boot camp, so it is not so abrupt when I suddenly start doing it. And I am also going to do a post-cleanse phase when I am done, and that is probably even more important.
