I wanted to talk to you about God and food. Now it's funny, if you look in the Bible, the very first thing that God talks about to man is food. If you look there, God creates the world, the Garden of Eden, there's man, man's in the garden. The very first thing in the very first sentence, God says to man, "Here's the food I made for you. Enjoy this food." And the fact is, God made the perfect food that would allow Adam to thrive and live forever there in the Garden of Eden. There were three very important points about the food that Adam consumed.

Number one: It was organic. No pesticides or herbicides had been sprayed on it. It was fresh. It hadn't traveled in a truck from anywhere. It was pick and eat. Hand to mouth. And, it was also raw. He didn't have an oven, a microwave, or any of that kind of stuff. Fresh, raw, and organic.

Now, I'm not going to leave you hanging there without meat because Noah comes along, God actually talks to Noah later on about more food, and this time they talk about meat, and they talk about the clean animals. And there's really important scientific reasons for eating the clean animals and avoiding the unclean that are listed there.

I have read bunches and bunches of health food books and health websites and magazines and all that kind of information, and I can tell you, the experts that really know what they are talking about are very close to what God offers in the Bible as a blueprint for what a person should be eating. Lots of fresh, raw, organic vegetables and fruits and clean meats, and staying away from the pesticides, herbicides, additives, and all kinds of different processed foods that we're exposed to these days. This gives the body vibrant energy. This is how the body was designed to run, on these types of fuels.

This has been Jeff Yentzer with today's energy tip. Thanks for watching.
