This is a great video on nutrient dense superfoods. I have tried several of these myself.
Quinoa
A tasty alternative to rice or oatmeal. Sometimes I have this as a meal. Add in blueberries, nuts, organic free range eggs. coconut oil and a bit of seaweed like kelp or dulse. Makes a complete meal.
It's gluten free, which is great for folks like me who can't tolerate gluten. If you have health/digestive issues, consider looking into the gluten issue.
Goji and Acai
These are both great superfoods. I'm currently taking a multi-nutrient drink, that contains both of these.
Wheat Grass
A friend of mine from yoga class is just raving about this stuff. It will change your life, he says. He actually grows the stuff and juices it. Not sure if I want to go to all that effort.
Spirulina
This is often included in a lot of your "Green" drinks.
Agave Nectar
Sometimes as an ingredient in "health food" type products.
Stevia
I've got this growing in my garden. I love to break off a few leaves and add it to my organic salads. It adds a nice hint of sweetness.
